Artist Rendering of the new Children's Hospital that is under construction
1 August 2010...in 11 days I'll be at Children's Hospital in Birmingham, AL to undergo the sub cranial grid placement and follow on resection of a portion of my right frontal lobe. Tomorrow, Mom and Dad are taking me to meet with Dr Blount for the pre-surgery appointment and we'll get one more chance to ask any additional questions. My Dad will probably make a video so keep an eye out for that.
Speaking of my Dad; he usually sleeps like a dead man! That is until one of my brain surgery appointments approach. Then he sleeps like me...restlessly and for only a few hours per night. Keep him in your thoughts as he worries about me.
Also, my Mom (aka my Rock) has about reached the end of her term as baby caddy. My new brother or sister is scheduled to arrive near the end of September. Let's hope this new sibling has no ambitions of being born in Alabama.

I guess homeschooling families must be under rocks because we had never seen it (the David After the Dentist video). We had to watch it three times for the kids!! FUNNY!
