Who's Following the Journey?

Love and miss you, Xavier. I know you are sleeping without seizures at night and so thankful you can finally rest even during the day. I bet you are happy to be home with your family and Nik-Nik! Can't wait to see you when your new baby brother or sister arrives. I keep praying and thanking God for all those who prayed for you and continue to pray for your recovery. Hugs and kisses to my sweet 'special boy'. See you soon!

Thought I was the only one having to do all those surgeries at such a young age. Mine started at 5. But they basically were the same. Some of the procedures were different cause they didnt' have the knowledge that they have now. But they were basically the same THANKS FOR SHARING.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love ur strength.

We have been so blessed to have so many prayers for you, Xavier! I am so happy that I was at your house when you learned to say, "Mama" for the first time! God is so good and showing us that miracles are possible and that our faith and love for you will prevail.
I know the seizures are still going on, but they are less in duration. We need to know that in order to accept further surgeries and trust that our Lord is showing us how to be patient and trusting throughout this whole ordeal. Friends and family love you so much and I can't wait for you to witness the power of God through your complete cure! Praise God for the grace to accept things now and hope always for the future. I love you more than ICE CREAM!

Xavier:
Glad to see that your father is moving well and running again. Sorry I am not there to help you guys train for the big race. You could not be in better hands. Please know that even though we have moved on Sandra, Daniel and myself are still on your side pulling for success. Keep pushing for results guys. And I am always a call away for any help you may need...even when you are afraid to ask.
Good luck to you.. THE PARTREA FAMILY

Even though I didn't get to see Xavier and he family when he was in Birmingham for his surgery, I spent a few minutes with his grandmother, Sandy, a wonderful friend of mine. I am delighted that she gave me the address for this fabulous site. You have done a wonderful job with it, and I'm in awe that you have the time. What a beautiful family you have! Love, Sharon

My thoughts and prayers are with Xavier and his whole family. Chris and Amber, you are very strong and loving people and I know God is on your side. It has been an honor to meet you and know of you. I am Grandma Claire's daughter. I met you at Xavier's birthday party a couple of years ago, and it was awesome to see the love you share as a family. The site is wonderful, you've done a great job. Stay strong, keep the faith, be safe and be happy. Love, Debbie

As I was walking through downtown Independence, Kansas this afternoon, I saw something in the window of the print shop I was going to. The sign said:
Disability is not a "brave struggle" or "courage in the face of adversity"...disability is an art. It's an ingenious way to live. Neil Marcus 1993

I read it twice and knew it was something I should share with the rest of the family!
